A water supplier says it is extending an offer of extra help for customers in Lichfield and Burntwood who have been financially hit by the coronavirus crisis.
South Staffs Water has given payment breaks, flexible payment plans and tariffs for those on low incomes during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The company said the scheme would now be extended until the end of December.
Rachael Merrell, service delivery director at South Staffs Water, said:
“We’ve seen a growing number of customers seek help since March when lockdown hit us.
“We have almost 14,500 customers benefitting from our standard and COVID-19 Assure tariffs.
“The important thing we want customer to know is that they needn’t worry.
“We want anyone who is struggling to contact us and we will see how we can help.”
