Burntwood schools have been given a green gift after trees were donated by a local construction company.

Wade Construction and Developments Ltd planted oak and beach saplings at a number of sites across the town.
Schools to benefit include Chasetown Community School, Springhill Primary Academy, Ridgeway Primary School and Fulfen Primary School.
A spokesperson said:
“Many of the schools and pupils took part in the digging and planting of the trees and used this as an educational experience on the importance of looking after our environment, with many of them enjoying the experience and getting stuck in.”
