A Lichfield rugby player has captained England’s under 18 team in their international encounter with France.
Joe Woodward, who previously attended King Edward VI School and started his sporting journey in Lichfield RUFC’s mini juniors section, led out his country across the Channel.
The friendly match saw England eventually beaten 28-5.
