A fried chicken outlet is to open in part of a former restaurant unit in Lichfield.

Wingers will occupy a 2,066 sq ft section of the ex-Frankie and Benny’s site at Wall Island.

Commercial property company Phillips Sutton confirmed the deal for one of three units created from the former restaurant.

Wingers describes itself as offering “premium quality wings and tenders marinated in buttermilk and coated in a secret seasoning”.

A pedant asks, gas meters or electricity meters? When the correct spelling of a word become ‘pedantry’?
