Funfair bosses are hoping people in Lichfield will be able to share memories of previous visits as the attraction prepares to return to the city.
The Pat Collins fair will be in Beacon Park from 2nd to 5th June as part of the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations.
Elleray Harris, from Pat Collins Funfair, said they were hoping to bring together a collection of photos and memories from visits over the years for a new online display.
“The name Pat Collins has been synonymous with the travelling fairground business for more than a century – there can be few other showmen whose names resonate so immediately with families right across the Midlands, Staffordshire and Cheshire.
“We are now on the hunt for people’s fairground memories and photos over the years to use on our website and are appealing for people to get in touch.”

Memories and photos can be sent to events@patcollinsfunfairs.co.uk.
As well as rides, this year’s visit to Lichfield will also feature workshops from local artist Tess Radcliffe showing people how to create fairground art.
“We are really looking forward to bringing our fair, which will have elements of a modern festival with entertainment, art and even food demonstrations, to Lichfield.”
