A morning classical music concert will take place in Lichfield this week against a unique backdrop.

The Highly Strung Quartet will perform beneath the giant Gaia art installation at The Hub at St Mary’s at 11am on Sunday (15th May).

Music will include numbers by Vivaldi, hits from Disney musicals and other family favourites.
The all-female quartet will play beneath the giant seven metre globe that will be installed from 10th May to 4th June.
The Hub’s creative director Anthony Evans said:
“At The Hub, we pride ourselves on breaking down barriers and being accessible to everyone – the informal setting makes it the ideal place for families to come and enjoy music together.
“In this hour-long concert, The Highly Strung Quartet present their music in a fun and relaxed way, engaging audiences – whatever their age – in expertly played, fabulous music.”
