Members of a Lichfield group have been exploring military aircraft as part of their latest trip.

Lichfield Beacon Probus Club visited RAF Cosford Museum for a guided tour of the Cold War section of the museum.

A spokesperson said:

“We gazed in awe at the aircraft, particularly the V Bombers, and the other weaponry on display, while some of our members recalled their experiences in the RAF, adding to the information given by our guide.

“Most then went on to experience, through the wonders of modern technology, a 4D display flight with the Red Arrows, leaving us amazed at the skill of pilots who can fly within seemingly touching distance of each other while flinging their aeroplanes all over the sky.”
