Organisers of the Lichfield Bower are appealing for help to source a golf-style buggy for the event.

The annual procession and celebrations will take place on 4th June, with activities across the city centre.

But organisers are now trying to borrow a vehicle for the day.

A spokesperson said:

“We are looking for a four or more seat golf-style buggy to use in Beacon Park.

“If you can help by either loaning one or donating the hire of one to use please get in touch.

People can contact if they can help.

  1. The Queen may not be using hers on the day. There used to be a red one in Burntwood with a Rolls Royce grill. Even her majesty’s hasn’t got that I see.

  2. Whatever happened to push bikes? Or are the procession vehicles getting smaller and smaller?
