Residents at a Lichfield care home have been getting on their bike after being paid a special visit.
The Big Red Bike – an initiative that enables people to get out and about in the local community – visited The Spires Care Home.
Residents were given the chance to get out on and take a ride on the specially adapted bike.
Home manager Amy Doyle said:
“We are so grateful to The Big Red Bike for supporting our residents to get back out in the community and enjoy bike riding once again.”

I am one of the lucky ones who had the pleasure of enjoying a ride with the”big red bike” when experiencing mobility difficulties whilst attending an “open gardens” afternoon . They are doing a very special job in such a friendly way.
