A postbox in Lichfield has been temporarily taken out of action after syringes were dumped in it.
The box on Lombard Street has been taped off due to the issue.
A Royal Mail notice said:
“We’re making this temporary closure because of syringes being posted in the box posing a health and safety risk to collection staff.
“We’ll return the postbox to normal service as soon as possible.”
