Lichfields going down hill fast and the lack of plod doesn’t help? Do they only work 9-5 ?

Lichfield is getting like it was in late 80’s early 90’s. Rough. And believe it or not I still love Lichfield.
Delays in certain projects, i.e. Kennings Development, the ill fated Cinema. The lack of opportunity within Lichfield and its District are just the tip of iceberg!

Some of the teenagers/young adults I’ve seen around Lichfield are awful. Zero respect or manners. Not what I expected when I moved here 2/3 years ago I must say. Feels like I’m living in Birmingham.

I dont think the police work at all these days. These thugs do as they like, with no consequences.

Gary, you’ll find that their parents probably moved here too. Moving a sheep to a stable does not make it a horse.

@’Denyse P’: And when a newcomer moves to Lichfield, that doesn’t make them a criminal. If you’ve got evidence of who is behind crime in Lichfield, do share that with the police. If, on the other hand, you have no evidence, maybe think twice about making unfounded allegations.

My accusations are anything but unfounded, I work with some of the families that have moved to the area. I believe that if you lived next door to them the blinkers would soon fall from your eyes.

@Denyse P: Firstly, if you work with people in this situation, it is highly unprofessional of you to post such comments. Are your employer and clients aware of your activities online? You have a duty of confidentiality to your clients and that would include not making public generalisations belittling them as a group. If I were your employer, I would have very grave concerns about your suitability to work with vulnerable families.

Secondly, you have no idea which families I live next door to, or, indeed, what my own family connections are. Many of the people living in Lichfield District originally came from outside of the area or have parents who moved here from other areas.

You have offered your own bigoted opinion equating a very large group of people with criminality. This amounts to prejudice, not evidence.
