Plans for a new children’s play facility in Burntwood have been approved.

The development will see a former industrial unit off Milestone Way to be converted into a Sunshine Play Town.

The facility will be designed to cater for children aged up to eight.

A planning statement said:

“The mini play town is a role play experience that will consist of unique built features such as mini supermarket, hairdressers, vet surgery, fire and police station, and a make-believe outdoor area.

“Our clients would like to have a café area with seating for parents to utilise while their children are playing and being supervised.”

The business says it expects the centre to employ one full time and four part time staff members.
