Police are appealing for witnesses after an attempt to break into a van in Lichfield.
The incident happened at 9.30pm on Tuesday (12th December) on Lyn Avenue.
A Staffordshire Police spokesperson said the lock had been forced on the van, but the alarm sounded and the offender made off from the area.
