Burntwood will be back in action this weekend as they kick-off their Papa John’s Cup campaign.
The CCE Sportsway side will travel to Wigan tomorrow (20th April) to take on Aspull in the second round of the competition having received a bye in the opening round.
The hosts had a tough season in their league, finishing ninth of the 12 teams in the Counties 1 ADM Lancashire and Cheshire Northern Division with eight wins from their 22 games.
Burntwood, meanwhile, secured a fourth place finish in their division.
