Hammerwich saw their start to the cricket season delayed due to the impact of recent rain.
They had been due to start their campaign against Penkridge this afternoon (20th April).
But the club confirmed all action had been postponed.
“The sun may have been shining, but the past few days of April showers have caused quite a stir on our ground.
“Therefore all cricket is cancelled for the weekend.”
