ALL eyes were on Lichfield Ladies’ red team as they made the trip to Kenilworth.
The victory on the road took them to second place in the league, partly due to other teams being unable to play because of the impact of Storm Bert.
Kenilworth led 10-0 after 25 minutes before the red team’s top try scorer Karolina Kacirkova claimed two tries before half-time to bring it back to all square.
Lichfield’s other go-to option Molly Draycott put the city side in front, only for the hosts to draw level on the hour.
The last quarter went Lichfield’s way with Amy Edmondson and Katie Gregory claiming scores, both converted by Draycott, to earn a valuable 29-15 bonus point victory.
