ORGANISERS have hailed a successful Christmas market in Whittington.
The event was held at the village hall on Saturday and saw good numbers in attendance.
A spokesperson said:
“Visitors were entertained by the community choir and a morris dancing display, while browsing all the usual stalls and a wide range of seasonal extras, including a variety of Christmas gifts and decorations, an extensive food offering, games and some
spectacular face painting.“The Fairtrade Bag-a-Bag stall did its customary roaring trade and sold out of all its 200 bags soon after midday.”
