A LOCAL historian is set to explore the history of castles at a talk in Lichfield.
Robert Mee will be the guest of the South East Staffordshire Association of National Trust Members at 7.30pm on 15th January.
A spokesperson said:
“Robert will give us a potted history of the castle as a concept, then take us on a tour of possible and definite castle sites.
“We’ll hear about some forgotten ruins and even significant bumps in the ground that once represented much more.”
Entry to the event at the Lichfield Guildhall is £3 for members and £5 for non-members.
