A DEVOTED father has honoured the memory of his daughter with a fundraising charity raffle.

Chris Jebson has organised the initiative in aid of St Giles Hospice where Macala Green, 45, was cared for before her death from a brain tumour in November 2024.

A number of Burntwood traders have supplied prizes, including the Taj Indian Kitchen, Kelly Kanines dog groomers, M&S Butchers, Cleopatra’s hair salon, The Trading Post and Sankeys Key Cutting.

Chris said:

“The care Macala received at St Giles Hospice was truly exceptional – and this raffle was one small way we can give back.

“The generosity of our local businesses and community has been overwhelming, and every penny raised will help ensure other families receive the same outstanding care that meant so much to us.”

The prize draw will be held at the Vintage Liquid Taphouse in Burntwood.

Sam Allen, owner of the Vintage Liquid Taphouse, said:

“When Chris approached us about hosting the raffle, we didn’t hesitate to help.

“It’s wonderful to see our community unite to support such an important cause that touches many local families.”
