PEOPLE considering starting their own business in 2025 are being urged to find out more about support offered across Staffordshire.
Free professional advice is being offered by Staffordshire County Council to help companies grow and thrive.
The programme includes the Get Started and Grow scheme for new businesses up to five years old. It provides support and guidance on HR, accounting, legal, social media, branding and website design and management.
Staffordshire County Council’s deputy leader and cabinet member for economy and skills Philip White said:
“It can be a daunting prospect pursuing an ambition to start a new business with the many challenges that come with it, but our expert teams are on hand now to make those initial months and years more manageable.
“Free advice and guidance in areas from finance to digital marketing is available and will be tailored to the business’s needs. This really can make a difference and will boost confidence where there can be understandable apprehension.
“We have a strong record for start-up survival in the county. As a county council we’re committed to provide the right environment for small businesses to thrive, and vitally to operate successfully through the difficult first few years.”
