FUNDRAISING efforts to pay for work to remodel a local church are continuing in Whittington.
A Christmas Tree Festival at St Giles Church saw more than 500 visitors and helped to raise over £1,000.
The winners were Sheepwash Farm Nursery, with Twirls and Curls in hot pursuit in second place.
The next fundraiser is the annual quiz on on Saturday (18th January). Doors open at 6.30pm for a 7pm. start. There is a licensed bar and a supper is included in the ticket price of £15. Under 16s are £6.
