THE winners of the Lichfield Cathedral Christmas Tree Festival have been unveiled.
Tippers took the business category, while Knitbitz scooped best charity tree and StMichael’s CE Primary School won the school award.
The event ran from November to January and saw 53 Christmas trees lined up inside the cathedral, all decorated by local organisations. Visitors were then invited to vote for their favourite.
A spokesperson for Lichfield Cathedral said:
“Some very strong runners up were Foster with Staffordshire, Survivors of Bereavement by Suicide and St Joseph’s Catholic Primary School.
“The winning charity and school will each receive a cash prize, while the winning business will receive a trophy which they can proudly display at their premises.”
