AN annual festive fundraiser in Lichfield has raised more than £19,000 for local charities and good causes.
Volunteers from Lichfield Round Table took their Santa sleigh to neighbourhoods in the run up to Christmas to spread cheer and collect donations.
A total of 292 people gave up their time to help support the initiative.
Justin Parsons, chairman of Lichfield Round Table, said:
“We are absolutely delighted by the incredible support we received this year.
“The funds raised will go directly toward local charities and good causes, making a significant impact in our community.
“A heartfelt thank you to everyone who donated, volunteered and helped us achieve this fantastic total.”
