PEOPLE can find out more about joining a Community Speed Watch group at drop-in events.

The training team from the Staffordshire Safer Roads Partnership will be at Lichfield Library from 10am to 1pm on 4th February and at Shenstone Library from 2pm to 3pm on the same day.

A spokesperson said:

“Members will be available to tell you how valuable this scheme is in helping to make roads safer, answer any of your questions or sign you up for the next training course.”

Can’t you just sign up for the course without having to go to a meeting to talk about it? I spoke to someone at a community event and the community safety man took my details to attend a training course but received no call. This was over a year ago.
