LICHFIELD City will return to league action against Uttoxeter Town.

Ivor Green’s men take to the road for the latest league test as they bid to get back to winning ways.

City were knocked out of the league cup in midweek as they lost 4-2 to AFC Wulfrunians.

However, City go into the game unbeaten in their last seven league contests – winning their last six – to move ten points clear at the top of the Midland Football League Premier Division.

Meanwhile, the hosts also suffered cup heartache in the midweek, losing 2-1 to Stapenhill, but they held out for a 2-2 draw against Northwich Victoria in the previous league clash.

Kick off this afternoon (25th January) is at 3pm.
