THE chair of Burntwood Town Council said it was “a real pleasure” to be able to welcome local carers for an afternoon tea event.
Cllr Kathy Coe MBE hosted the free celebration to thank and recognise the support and compassion carers show.
She said:
“It was a real pleasure to be able to host a celebration for the people in our community who are committed to caring for a loved one.
“Meeting and sharing an afternoon tea with them was brilliant. They are inspirational and it was good to thank them for what they do.”
