A NEW programme of free half term activities has been unveiled at the National Memorial Arboretum.

Indoor craft sessions, interactive storytelling workshops and woodland trails will be among the fun on offer from 17th to 21st February.

Rachel Smith, head of learning at the National Memorial Arboretum, said:

“After the success of our previous half-term events, we are excited to offer a new range of fun and educational activities for families this February.

“Whether your family loves creative activities, storytelling or exploring the great outdoors, there’s something for everyone this half term.”

Among the sessions are an animal-inspired craft activity which will give people the chance to make their own creations as well as purple poppies to wear, while Arbie and the Magical Lights is a storytelling session.

There will also be a range of outdoor trails, including the popular Stickman journey.
