WHITTINGTON produced a dominant display to get the better of Aldridge 2nds.
After being sent in to bat first, the village side saw Faizanullah Niazai (6-49) and Martin Weston (3-50) shine with the ball as the visitors were restricted to a score of 140 before being skittled out.
The reply got off to an ideal start as Whittington reached 59 before losing their first wicket when Abdul Mughal caught Shazak Malik off the bowling of Henry Lamburn after the opener had hit 32 off 30 balls.
Sanmeer Hussain became Lamburn’s second victim shortly afterwards as the hosts slipped to 68-2.
But Euan Hammond and Phil Burton drove the total to 104 before the latter was trapped lbw by Shazad Ali.
By the time Hammond was caught by Reuben Taylor off the bowling of Ali to make it 125-4, the result looked to be beyond doubt.
Toby Dennis and Abdulwafi eased Whittington past the target to secure the victory.
