VOLUNTEERS are being invited to join a planting effort in Whittington.
Locals will be planting bulbs in grassed areas as part of efforts to help pollinators, improve the appearance of the village and boost their chances in the Best Kept Village and Heart of England in Bloom competitions.
People interested in helping out can meet at Swan Meadow at 11am on 19th October.
