ORGANISERS of an annual festive Santa Sleigh in Lichfield have hailed the fundraising event a success.
Lichfield Round Table said the 2025 iteration was the “largest and most ambitious season” it had embarked on in recent years.
It saw 24 routes followed along with attendance at a range of events across the area.
More than 360 volunteers also took part to help raise funds for local groups.
Daniel White, from Lichfield Round Table, said:
“This has been our biggest Santa Sleigh season to date – certainly in the years I’ve been a member of the round table.
“Our motto is ‘Adopt, Adapt, Improve’, and that really sums up what the lads achieved this year.
“After a challenging sleigh repaint and a number of technical issues along the way, the team adapted, pulled together and ultimately delivered a fantastic season for the community.
“I couldn’t be prouder of the effort, commitment, and teamwork shown by everyone involved.”
Funds raised during the Santa Sleigh season will go on to support local charities, community groups, and good causes across Lichfield and the surrounding areas.
For anyone who missed Santa on the streets, they can still donate online at www.lichfieldsanta.co.uk.

Merry Christmas and well done.
