THE history of railway timetables will be explored at a talk in Lichfield.

The Guildhall will host Robert Mee for the meeting of the South East Stafforshire Association of National Trust Members.

His talk, A Railway Mystery Journey, will use a copy of Bradshaw’s guide from 1922 to explore the heritage of train travel.

A spokesperson said:

“A history mystery tour, Robert’s live presentation is guaranteed to surpass that of a certain former MP known for his TV series.”

The talk takes place at 7.30pm on 21st January. Admission is £7 for non-members.
