Founder & Editorial Director
Brought up in Burntwood and living in Lichfield for the past 15 years, Ross has worked in journalism since leaving school. Having started his career at the Lichfield Post, he went on to enjoy a career with one of the country’s largest newspaper publishers, eventually becoming responsible for newspaper websites across the Midlands. After moving into journalism education, Ross launched The Lichfield Blog which later became Lichfield Live. He continues to be the editor of the site.
As a WordPress developer for most of his career, Phil has provided technical support to Lichfield Live since the beginning. He also brings experience from his day job where he works with news publishers large and small from across the world.
Steve settled in Lichfield after graduating as a mature student from Coventry University in 2001 after a career in the voluntary sector. He worked for Lichfield District Council in a role that brought him into contact with many of the excellent local community organisations and developed a passion for local community activity. He has been on the board of many local charities and helped set up several community initiatives. Father of two teenagers, he is currently working for a government organisation. Steve has been a big fan of Lichfield Live since it started and is delighted to be part of the Board of Directors.
Paul is a journalist and editor with 30 years experience in the industry and is Group Editor for a magazine publisher. He has lived in Lichfield for 17 years, likes to cycle the quiet lanes of Staffordshire alone and enjoys rugby (Wales, Cardiff Blues and Lichfield RFC in that order).
