Lichfield racing driver [Adam Christodoulou](http://www.adamchristodoulou.co.uk/?ref=lichfieldlive.co.uk) has continued his rise to the top of his sport by joining the JDC Motorsports team.

The reigning British Forumla Renault champion will take part in the 13-race [Star Mazda Championship](http://www.starmazda.com/?ref=lichfieldlive.co.uk), according to media [reports](http://www.motorsport.com/news/article.asp?ID=321298&FS=&ref=lichfieldlive.co.uk).

[JDC Motorsports](http://www.jdcmotorsports.com/?ref=lichfieldlive.co.uk) co-owner John Church told [Motorsport.com](http://www.motorsport.com/?ref=lichfieldlive.co.uk):

“”We are excited about adding Adam to our driver line-up for 2009\. He showed during the series test back in January that he is a very talented driver, and we look forward helping him achieve his goal of a series title this year.”
