# Appeal after 12-year-old boy is punched in Chase Terrace attack

Police are appealing for information after a boy was attacked on waste ground in Chase Terrace.

A 12-year-old boy was walking when he was approached by a group of four teenagers. The group also had a small moped with them and were dressed in casual clothing.

One of the group punched the boy in the face causing the 12-year-old to lose a tooth.

PC Paul Bevan, who is investigating the incident, said:

> “I want to trace the teenager involved in this incident and urge anyone who knows about this incident to come forward.”

The offender is described as a white male, aged around 16-years-old, with dark hair, was wearing a purple coloured baseball cap, grey-coloured hooded jacket and grey-coloured tracksuit bottoms.

Police have not yet revealed the exact location of the attack.
