Police are trying to trace two men trying to gain access to cars on a driveway near Lichfield.

One of the men caught on camera

One of the duo was caught on camera in the early hours of this morning (27th November) attempting to open car doors in the Elford area. They then tried to use a relay device to gain access to the vehicle.

They left the address after spotting that the homeowner had CCTV installed.

A Staffordshire Police spokesperson said: “Officers are increasing patrols and will be engaging with the local community to gather intelligence on this issue.”

Anyone with information is asked to call police on 101 quoting incident number 24 of 27 November.
