POLICE are appealing for information after a crash in Mile Oak left a woman with serious injuries.

The incident involving a Skoda Superb and a Nissan Micra happened on the A453 at 8.55am yesterday (19th December).

A Staffordshire Police spokesperson said:

> “The driver of the Micra, a woman, was freed from the car and taken to hospital. Her injuries are believed to be serious.

> “The driver of the Skoda stayed at the scene and is assisting us with our enquiries.”
