THOUSANDS of pounds worth of damage has been caused to fencing in Alrewas.

Police say the incident – which saw panels cut down – happened at some point after the fencing was installed around a field off The Pastures on 8th December.

Signs stating there was no public right of way have also been removed.

Anyone with information can contact police on 101, quoting incident 543 of 15th December.
