# Appeal for witnesses to car crash near Lichfield

Witnesses to a crash near Lichfield which left both drivers injured are being asked come forward.

A yellow Citroen DS and a silver Rover 25 collided on the A515 at Riley Hill at 3pm on Friday (February 21).

A Staffordshire Police spokesperson said: “The 51 year-old woman driver of the Citroen and the 21 year-old woman driving the Rover were both taken to hospital with serious leg injuries. However, they are not considered to be life threatening or life changing.”

Anyone who has any information is asked to ring PC Ben Gilbert on 101 quoting incident 383 of 21 February or the independent charity Crimestoppers, anonymously on 0800 555 111.
