PROPOSALS to convert a storage building into a hair salon have been approved.

The scheme was submitted to Lichfield District Council for a site at 3 Plantation Lane in Hopwas.

A planning statement said the new salon was likely to serve three or four customers on weekdays and two or three on Saturdays.

> “The business will be operated solely by the applicant, who will work independently without employing additional staff.

> “Appointments will be made on a one-to-one basis, with no more than two clients on-site  
> at any one time.”
