# Area cordoned off after man stabbed in Lichfield

AN area of Lichfield has been cordoned off after a man was stabbed.

Officers were called to reports of a disturbance on Dimbles Lane at around 12.30am today (24th July).

A man was found with stab injuries and taken to hospital. He remains in a serious but stable condition.

A Staffordshire Police spokesperson said:

> "Officers and specialist teams are completing searches and forensic examinations at the scene and cordons remain in place.  
>  
> "We are appealing for anyone with CCTV, doorbell or dashcam footage of the area at the time to contact us. Call 101, quoting incident 23 of 24th July."
