A man has been arrested after a mugging in Lichfield.

The victim had cash and a bank card stolen from him after the incident at Greenhill at 11.20pm yesterday (July 25).

A Staffordshire Police spokesperson said: “Within 20 minutes a man was swiftly located and arrested in connection with the incident.”

A 32-year-old man from Birmingham has been arrested on suspicion of robbery.
