A new mural has been created at a pre-school in Alrewas.

The unveiling of the new mural at Stepping Stones Pre-School in Alrewas

The design was created by first year art students at Burton College with their tutor Rowena Barrett.

It was commissioned by Stepping Stones Pre-School and funded by a grant from The Alrewas Show. It represents the village with images of a heron, agricultural vehicles, livestock and the local church.

A spokesperson said: “Special thanks also go to local companies Mat Turner Plumbing for the transportation of the mural from the college to the Pre School and to RJK construction for the donations of paints and installation materials.”
