# Assisted living properties in Fazeley given the green light

PLANS to build nine assisted living properties in Fazeley have been approved.

The development has been earmarked for land off Lichfield Street and also includes the demolition of a bungalow currently on the plot.

The proposals will see three separate buildings constructed, two for accommodation and the other as a detached staff office.

A planning statement said:

> “The existing dwelling on the site is of low build quality with many areas of the structure requiring remediation work.

> “The proposal responds to the site constraints by providing a high-quality assisted living development which will make a positive contribution to the local supply of assisted living accommodation and also remain in keeping with the surrounding area.”
