An author will be shedding light on his military service around the world at a National Memorial Arboretum talk.

Bruce Duncan MBE will be in Alrewas to discuss his book, [The Loan Soldier](https://www.greenfinchpress.com/index.php/our-publications/the-loan-soldier-by-bruce-duncan/?ref=lichfieldlive.co.uk), at 2pm on Saturday (February 27).

A spokesperson said: “This talk includes a first hand account of a British military family’s experience in occupied Kuwait and is delivered on the eve of unveiling of the Gulf War (1990/1) Memorial dedicated to the 47 personnel who died in the conflict.”
