Barton United fired themselves back into the title race in the Midland Combination Division Two with a 1-0 win at Northfield Town.

Andrew Lee got the decisive goal to fire his side up to third in the table.

United are six points adrift of leaders Paget Rangers, but have two games in hand.

They can attempt to close the gap when they entertain FC Stratford on November 2.
