Barton United suffered a shock 8-1 home defeat against Kenilworth Town KH.

The result means the visitors leapfrogged United, who now lie in sixth place in the Midland Combination Division Two, five points adrift of frontrunners Polesworth.

Four goals for James Bramwell and two apiece for Scott Hennell and Luke Vuckovic were enough to sink Barton.

They will be hoping for an instant return to form when they entertain Sutton United in the Birmingham Saturday Vase this weekend (October 19).
