Barton United finally stopped the rot with their first win since January.

The 1-0 victory against Northfield Town brings to an end their unenviable run of eight games without a triumph.

And Barton could move back into the top half of the Midland Football Combination Division Two if they can get the better of title challengers Paget Rangers on Saturday (April 12).
