Craft workshops in Lichfield are giving people the chance to make decorative items.

The Beacon Park Discovery Hub

Beacon Park’s Discovery Hub will host a beginner’s bunting session from 1pm to 3pm today (September 14) before hosting a happy jars and stones class at the same time on September 28.

Ruth Piddington, community and education officer for Lichfield District Council, said: “Taking part in craft activities has been proven to have a really positive effect on your mood.

“This is why we’re running these crafty wellbeing workshops, to not only show how to hand make some lovely objects, but to introduce local people to what might become a new hobby that will have health giving benefits.”
