A MOTORCYCLIST has been caught doing almost 95mph on the A5 in Lichfield.

Police said the rider was caught on camera clocking the speeds on a 60mph stretch yesterday (29th May).

A spokesperson for the force’s specialist road crime team said:

> “The driver was reported for excess speed, tyre below minimum tread depth, driving without due care and attention and having a number plate which doesn’t conform.  
>  
> “For two minutes of enjoyment this driver may struggle to justify holding onto their licence and is risking his safety and that of other road users.”
