The Blood Bikes service has received a donation from the owners of the M6toll.

The £350 cheque was handed over after the organisation was nominated by Midland Expressway Ltd’s social committee.

The money will be used to fund a new satellite navigation system for one of the motorbikes.

Helen Bundy, from Shropshire and Staffordshire Blood Bikes, said: “We are so very grateful for this support.

“These pieces of equipment are vital to us as we expand our services across the two counties to new hospitals requiring our help.”
